- Technical requirements (if equipment is provided by the organizer):
- Stage: should have at least 3 x 3 or 4 x 2 meters in range, stable stage elements, non-slip surface, rainproof roof, with fused 220V power supply at the front edge of the stage.
- Sound system: a PA system appropriate to the venue should be provided, technically save, protected and up-to-date, with enough headroom (including bass) to handle concert volume. The PA system must be selected and positioned in such a way that a consistent, homogeneous sound pattern is produced throughout the entire audience area, without interference from misaligned mid/high clusters or similar. The PA system should be installed on separate stage elements in front of or next to the stage (wings) – under no circumstances on stage – and please: no DIY PA systems!
- Monitoring: please place at least one floor monitor at the front of the stage. Please use a good brand-name speaker for the monitor – please do not use DIY monitors!
- Mixing console: please provide at least a 6-channel mixer, preferably with 4-band equalization per channel with two parametric mid-ranges and at least two Hi-Z input (or provide the same amount of DI boxes as an alternative). Channel assignments:
- Channel 1: Vocals (XLR-In)
- Channel 2: Beat machine / Looper (Line-In)
- Channel 3: Acoustic Guitar (Hi-Z-In or DI box)
- Channel 4: Electric Bass (Hi-Z-In or DI box)
- Channel 5: External audio source (Line-In)
- Channel 6: Reserve (XLR-In)
- Lighting/effects: please provice a combination of PAR lights and ACL groups (back) appropriate to the venue or provide equivalent LED lighting.
- Microphones: please provide a wireless microphone on a boom stands – please no non-true diversity systems!
