Tank Of Danzig – Post Punk Project

„Tank of Danzig“ is a German post-punk/no-wave band. They performed in the 1980s alongside „Shriekback“, „Blurt“, „Virgin Prunes“, „Tom Robinson Band“ and „Siglo XX“. The band worked with René Tinner and Conny Plank. Tinner also produced the band’s debut album, „Not Trendy“ in Conny Plank’s recording studio. After many years of inactivity, the band became active again thanks to my efforts. I became an official member, and we released the single „American Hostages“ as a political statement on the upcoming American presidential election campaign, along with our own interpretation of the „Joy Division“ song „Transmission“ as the B-side. I produced the single together with Schengel for my own label „T.O.D. Records“. I left the band in 2024.
